Day 01: Arrival at Kolkata

Arrival at Kolkata International airport, meet & greet with our representative, transfer to hotel. Tour Itinerary briefing & interaction with Guide, rest of day at leisure, Overnight at Kolkata.


Day 02: Kolkata Sightseeing

Full day Kolkata City Tours: Kolkata is city of Joy & once open a time it was the capital of Modern India. City tour includes: The Mother House of the Missionary of Charity’, Nirmala Shishu Bhavan, St. John’s Church, Black Hole prison, Howrah Bridge, Eden gardens, The Governor House (Raj Bhavan), General post office (GPO), Writer’s building, St. Andrew’s Kirk and your guide will provide interesting narration, answer questions and walk you through each exploration stop. Day 03: Kolkata Sightseeing

AM visit to Marble palace (Mondays and Thursdays closed) From here we precede to Kumartulli-Potter’s lane, the centuries old tradition-bound studios of the idol makers ceremonially add life to the goddess Durga by creating her lotus-shaped eyes that wordlessly tell volumes of life divine. Victoria memorial- the landmark of Kolkata and you eyewitness the British Raj here. Evening boating at Hooghly River. Overnight at Kolkata. (Total Km 95)


Day 04: Kolkata- Chandangore- Berhampure

AM Transfer to Berhampure, enroute visit Chander Nagar the former French colony established in 1673,and other places like Patal-bari, Jora-ghat Cahandini, French Museum, it also have a Dutch settlement in Chinsurah (Dutch memorial Monument of “The Susana Anna Maria Memorial”) and a Portuguese settlement in Bandel (Bandel Imambara/ Bandel Basilica Church), then visit Hazarduari Palace at Murshidabad. Over night at Berhampure. ( Total Km 275)


Day 05: Berhampure

Full day sightseeing: includes Hazarduari Palace, Katra Masjid, Kathagola Gardens, Nizamat Imambara, Moti Jheel Park, Durga Puja, dedicated to the Goddes Durga in one of the most awaited events in Berhampore City. It occurs twice every year. Visit local villages to know their livelihood. Overnight at Berhampore. (Total Km 80)


Day 06: Berhampure – Shantiniketan

Am transfer to Shantiniketan, it’s called University town of Bengal &  Chk-in to hotel, PM visit to Deer park Lake, Chatimtala, Visva Bharati University, Amar Kutir, Kala Bhavan & Ravindra Nath Tagore’s Ashram. Overnight at Shantiniketan (Total Km 175)


Day 07: Shantiniketan – Bishnupur

AM Transfer to city of Terracotta, this is famous for Teraacotta Temple & Baluchery Saree. There are many such temples which stand testimony to the craftsmanship of the artisans of the region. Chk in to Hotel, rest of the at leisure / free for self exploration of the place. Over Night at Bishnupur. (Total Km 135)


Day 08: Bishnupur sightseeing and Air transfer to Bhubaneswar

Half day local sightseeing at Bishnupur, it includes, Rasmancha Temple, Pancha ratnaTemple of Shyam Rai, Jorebangla Temple of Keshta Rai, Madanmohan Temple,Dalmadal Kaman, Lalgargh, Lalbandh, Pathar Darwaja, Garh Darwaja, Stone Chariot, Nutan Mahal. Afternoon Transfer to Kolkata Airport to fly to Bhubaneswar (Total Km 190 on Road)

Day 09: Bhubaneswar Sightseeing

Many people says Bhubaneswar is city of Temples, visit to Lingaraja Temple, Mukteswar Temple, Parshurameswar Temple, Rajarani Temple, Second half visit to Tribal museum & Khandagiri-Udayagiri Caves. Evening marketing activities at Bhubaneswar Market, special for Handlooms & Sarees. Over night at Bhubaneswar (Total Km 90)


Day 10: Bhubaneswar- Dhauli Hill – Pipili Handicraft Market – Raghurajpur Craft Village - Puri

After breakfast drive to Dhauli (Buddhist Santi Stupa), Pipili (Appliqué work village) local market. Transfer to Puri. Enroute visit Raghuraj pur Heritage Village (Painting village). On the way also enjoy the Chita--paintings on the walls of the houses. Situated amidst groves of coconut, palm, mango and jack fruit, the main village has two streets with over 120 houses, most decorated with mural paintings, where the painters reside and practice their Pattachitra craft, besides many others that practices throughout the village, including traditional masks, stone idols, paper Mache, sculptures, and wooden toys.


And also you can witness Gotipua dance (Optional), is a traditional dance form in the state of Odisha, India, and the precursor of Odissi classical dance. It has been performed in Odisha for centuries by young boys, who dress as young women to praise Jagannath and Krishna. The dance is executed by a group of boys who perform acrobatic figures inspired by the life of Radha and Krishna. And this performance is a life time experience for visitors. Overnight at Puri. Day 11: Puri – Jagannath Temple –Chilika Lake - Sea beach - Puri

Early morning visit Lord Jangannath temple, (only Hindus are allowed inside the temple), Non Hindus can see the temple from a designated place. Also visit Raghunath Library, one of the oldest Temple Library of India. Visit to Chilika Lake, Asia’s largest estuarine water lagoon covers an area of 1100 sq Km with combination of salt and fresh water. The lake is separated from the Bay of Bengal by a narrow sandy ridge, called Ramsar Wetland. For it biodiversity, this lake attracts millions migratory bird in winter. It also home to a diverse range of aquatic life, including 225 species of fish and the playful Irrawaddy Dolphin. Boating to Mouth of Chilika Lake: the point where see meets the lake, visit to Rajhans Island. Evening back to Puri, Visit Golden Sea Beach of Puri. Overnight at Puri. (Total 150 Kms)


Day 12: Puri – Surfing at River (Marine Drive) – Konark Sun temple -Bhubaneswar

After breakfast proceed for Chandrabhaga Sea Beach, Konark Sun Temple ( Unesco Heritage Sun Temple, have lunch Konark . Then evening transfer to Bhubaneswar, Overnight at Bhubaneswar. (Total 140 Kms)

Optional Activity: Surfing on River / Water Body. Over night at Bhubaneswar


Day 13: Bhubaneswar – LalitGiri – Ratnagiri Bhuddhist Site

After breakfast check out from hotel and depart for Lalitgiri (Diamond Triangle). Full day Excursion to Lalitigiri (Archaeological site of a Buddhist Monastery from 4th to 8th Century AD) with Monastery parts and many votive Stupa, all different Buddhist sculptors with Chaita hall and a Huge stupa from where caskets of Budha's relic is available. Later visit Udayagiri, Another huge Buddhist monastery which still under excavation. Overnight at Ratnagiri. (Total 230 km)


Day 14: Ratnagiri - Dhenkanal Heritage Palace

After breakfast, full day excursion to Ratnagiri. Ratnagiri Buddhist Circuit Odisha is for sure the best place. Needless to say, Ratnagiri, the Largest Buddhist monastery we have till know, flourished from 4th to 14th century AD with most of sculptors of Vajrayan, hundreds of Votive Stupa & brick Stupa and huge monastery. it is one of the best places for those who are looking for a place of tranquility where they can feel peace and serenity. 


Afternoon transfer to Dhenkanal,  Overnight stay at Dhenkanal Heritage Palace / Kila Dalijoda Heritage home. This Palace belonged to the erstwhile Raja Saheb of Panchkote Raj, who built it in the year 1931 to actively pursue his 'Shikar' interests in the adjoining Dalijoda forests. The heritage stay will take to the past days of Royal Families of India to portray the family heritage, culture, rural lifestyle, food, tribal life, jungle walks, birding, boat ride, angling and much more. Over night at Kila Dalijoda. Overnight at Heritage Home Stay Palace. (Total Km 120)


Day 15: Kila Dalizoda Royal Palace- Phulbani

Morning transfer to Phulbani, enroute visit the famous Nuapatana Textile Village known for TIE & DIE pattern, Sadeibareni Dhokra Craft Village famous for Brass metal craft work. Arrival at Phulbani, Overngiht at Phulbani. ( Total 280 Km)


Day 16: Phulbani – Baliguda – Kotagarh Sanctuary - Rayagada

Morning transfer to Rayagada, enroute visit Baliguda, which is termed at entry point for Tribal of Odisha. The place is naturally beautiful surrounded by Sal Forest. Baliguda is home to Desia Kondh & Kutia Kondh. Visitors can trek to the tribal village to know about their livelihood. Also visit Dhokra Craft village & where variety of Tribal art is practiced & a village community Hall is established to promote & sustain this tribal form of Art & Craft. Tribal market Kotagarh. Then transfer to Rayagada via Muniguda, Over night at Rayagada. (Total 250)


Day 17: Rayagada – Jeypore (Must be Wednesday)

Morning transfer to Chatikona Bisamkatak Haat (Dangaria Tribes), visit Desia Kandha Village, drive to Jeypore, enroute visit Mina Pai Kuvi Kandha Village(Bamboo Work), Bada Paraja Village. Evening at Tribal Museum & Jagannath Temple at Koraput. Overnight at Jeypore Note: Foreign Visitors can visit to Jagannath Temple (Koraput, Total Km 250)


Day 18: Jeypore – Anukudelli - Jeypore (Must be Thursday)

Morning transfer to Anukudelli Bonda tribes and Desia Tribal market, on the way visit Machkund water fall and on the way visit Mali Village & Gadava Village @ Lamtaput ( Allar Gadava). Overnight at Jeypore. (Total Km 230)


Day 19: Jeypore – Kunduli Haat – Vishakhapatanam

Am chk out from hotel & transfer to Jagannth Temple of Koraput, Kunduli Haat, Similiguda Market & Limika Pottery village, Bada Paraja Tribal. After lunch transfer to Vishakhapatanam. Overnight at Vishakhapatanam. (Total Km 300)


Day 20: Vishakhapatanam Sightseeing

After Breakfast, visit for local sightseeing, INS Kurusura Submarine, Simhachalam Temple, Kailash Giri, Rama Krishna Beach, Arakhu Tribal Museum, Rishikonda Beach, Borra Caves, Araku Valley. ( Total Km 120)

 

Day 21: Vishakhapatanam – Araku Valley – Vishakhapatanam
